Michael is Associate Professor of English and Associate Dean (Teaching + Learning) in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Calgary. He specializes in early modern literature and digital humanities. In addition to overseeing the ACL, he is also writing a monograph on the rhetoric of exemplarity.

Adam is a University of Waterloo PhD candidate in the Department of English Language and Literature, where he is working toward a combined doctorate in English and Systems Design Engineering. His research investigates the intersection of technology and traditional literary studies.
Linguistics Specialist—Heather Froehlich (@heatherfro)
Heather Froehlich is a PhD student at the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK), where she studies gender in Early Modern London plays using computers. Her thesis draws heavily from sociohistoric linguistics and corpus stylistics, though she sustains an interest in digital methods for literary and linguistic inquiry. Research Assistant—Ore Arowobusoye
Ore Arowobusoye is a second year university student at the University of Calgary. She is majoring in computer science with a concentration in human and computer interactions. On top of being a crafty programmer she has the goal of taking as many fiction classes as possible because of her love of language. She joined the ACL team in the fall of 2015.
